I'm planing on picking up this 06 mk5 TODAY! 10-6-11. Help talk me IN or OUT of it. I love this car but am afraid of the milage.[suicide] The lowest they would go is $10991 OTD and AS IS. they gave me an "Autocheck" which doesn't show any maintenance at all, so no h20 pump or timing belt was done as far as i know.

I would inquire about whether the cam follower or timing belt have been changed. If the timing belt was not done on a car with over 100k then I would see if they will do it or knock some off the price. I would not drive it much if it hasnt been done.
