So - I bought an '09 GTI this summer. I live in Illinois, so when the temperature took a dive, I said, "Hey! I'm gonna use these heated seats!" One problem: they don't work.

The light indicates that they're on, but even after driving for 45 minutes, I don't feel much heat. I checked my fuse diagram and I saw that 3 fuses are responsible for the heated seats, the third one being in slot 46. There is no fuse in the slot.

I may be overthinking things, but will replacing this fuse (it's a 5 amp) fix my heated seats? Has anyone else had this problem, and could it be more than just a fuse? I bought the car certified so I still have a year and a half of warranty.

Thanks!

If you have a warranty, take it to the dealer. I know it may be simple, but it doesn't cost you a dime when they have to fix the problem.
