Hey guys, this is a problem I had and thought you'd like to read about, and would also like to see if anyone else has had it.
A week ago I was driving in Toronto, when at a red light the car just started chugging (surging back and forth). When driving the car, it felt like it had a really bad misfire, was firing on 3 cylinders, or was having fuel delivery isssues. I pulled into a gas station and opened the hood with the engine running and it was vibrating excessively with a ticking noise.
I took it to the closest dealer and after about an hour and a half, they said it was something to do with the valve timing, but they didn't know what. They said they would have to call Germany to find out, but I was in a hurry and they said it would be ok to drive back to Windsor (where I live).
Anyways, the problem went away, but came back briefly the other day when I was in Detroit.
Anyone else experience this? Thanks
