So i just purchased a new Go Apr Catback Exhaust. This is what i have done;

1.Unhooked the old exhaust from the hangers
2.Unbolted and removed the stock exhaust

But step three has got me scratching my head, for some reason the apr exhaust is much much larger in diameter than the stock piping still on the car. There is no way it will fit on remaining exhaust that comes from the the turbo (all stock btw). Was i supposed to buy something else also? As far as i am concerned there shouldn't be any sort of adapter/reducer sleeve between the two, so any ideas??? I really need help. thanks in advance!

there should be an adapter. there is no way you can get a 2.5" pipe to fit to a 3" pipe.

check out wikipedia there is a shop out here in Oregon that is a certified APR dealer that put the stage 1 then stage 2 on there Gti. its a full install with pictures. should help ya, good luck
