I'm new to this site and I'm going to be getting a 2007 4 door GTI Black Magic with leather for my wife soon. Can't wait!! What is the best exhaust/chip combo for the new GTI's and does anyone make a dual system that exits either side? I took a few pics of a new grey GTI that i saw today that I thought I'd show you all. This thing was sick!!

Black Magic 4 door Coming soon!!

I'm buying my wife a 2007 GTI black magic 4 door with leather in a couple of weeks. We are so excited. I'm glad to have found this site! I drive a lifted GMC HD with the Duramax, but I can't wait to zip around in our new go-getter Here is a pic of a sick GTI I saw today that I had to take some shots of. What do you all think?

That is a very well done GTI, I'm sure it wasn't cheap though.

I agree with Dragon, give that truck to your wife, keep the GTI for yourself.

The UG in those pictures is fucking hawt! I can't believe someone would get all that done and no tint though.

No way does she get the truck. My GMC would blow the GTI away. I've done a bunch of work to it and that duramax diesel absolutely hauls ass. I'm getting 0-60 at 5.8 and I took it to the track last summer and put down a 13.76 1/4 mile. But I still can't wait to fly around corners in our new GTI.
As far as us getting the 4 door, it just makes more sense for us since we are planning on having kids soon. Anyway, the wheelbase between the 2 and 4 door is the same and they both drive identically. We actually like the look of the 4 door better. Different strokes I guess? Once our BM is tinted and we put a set of bilstein coilovers on it, it will look sick 2 or 4 door.

I think tint is overrated, imho....

I had 10% tint all around in my last car, and it was hard as balls to see at night, and couldn't reallly see the sky / scenery that well.

Am I the only one who admires the scenery on cool drives?

True, I love looking at my surroundings (while looking at teh road of course). But I need a slight tint. I'm thinking 30%.

Where I used to live we had 10 curves in the entire county, but I know I'd still have more fun w/ a GTI
