Anyone found a fit place for gauge(s) because I'm thinking about getting a boost/vacuum gauge and I can't find the right place to put it because of the 2 million airbags in the car and i dont want gauges in my mouth if i get into an accident. Any suggestions?

I went with the center steerwheel gauge and i love it i dont have to turn my head in order to look at my boost. Its right in front of me ;D

they dont make them b/c of the curtain airbags eitherwise your gauges will be permanantly implanted in your face if you crash

unless UnitedGrayGTi06 means Steering Column.. then you merely search this site for Boost Gauge.. come on now... use your resources! But no there will be no mounting on the A pillar because of the airbag..

i have the offset boost guage and it looks nice. i also just got a dashpod in the mail. thats really going to look sweet! new south performance makes some great stuff.

I don't mean STEERING COLUMN. I know that they make one there, but it seems like its in the way of the other gauges. I meant the A pillar. So thanks for letting me know that the airbags don't allow for it. I appreciate it.

Boost Gauge, Oil Pressure, Air/Fuel... Why would you buy an extra water temp? You got one infront of you next to your fuel gauge ???

Seems to me the air vent guages are a bad idea ...especially if you are getting boost, oil pressure and air/fuel, thats covering alot of vent space ( especially for us who depend on A/C here in vegas. )

How about the Osir pod shown here?

I would prefer the steering column boost guage and the osir pod for the air/fuel - oil pressure. dont know if thats available though.

too bad about the pillar column not being available due to airbags...does anyone know if they deploy through the middle or if the plastic column flips to the side and the air bag shoots out that way... btw...thats a curtain bag, in front impacts your face generally goes into the steering bag...but if its not known how it reacts i would advise against a pillar guage, would still be interesting to know.
