Some people ask what certain acronyms stand for, and so this is a thread to clear all that up.

I can only think of a few, so please help me out and add to the list.

IMO- In my opinion
IMHO- In my honest opinion
BTW- By the way
AFAIK- As far as I know
LOL- Laughing out loud

if you think that you all live in a world of acronyms you should see what i have to deal with.

here is an example of how many acronyms i can use in one sentenance.

i have to put paper work in for COLA BAS BAH OHA and EFMP.

oha= overseas housing allowance
efmp= exceptional family member program


now go back and read the sentance and put the words in for the acronyms. that would be one hell of a log sentenance. lolololololololololololololololololol

When I first saw FTW back many moons ago it meant fuck the world, apparently that changed. *shrug*

When I use it I still use it as I learned it, so more often than not people give me the :wtf2: ;D
