does it matter as to what order the fmi should be installed? would it be better to purchase and install a intercooler ater or before chip? and with the istall of a fmc would you have to reprogram chip for further gains or would it just benefit from the cooler air itself? (probably depends since some chips are self programable like giac? and apr you woud have to go in to get it retuned for the mod? ty :)

No matter what order you do it all in, you will get some gain from the FMIC. Colder=Denser=MORE air. A cooler intake temp will also allow the ECU to request more boost from the turbo. The order to put your mods in kinda depends on how long you plan to take to get all your upgrades. If you've got bookoo bucks piling out of your wallet and you want to get it all done inside a month, I say save the chip for last so you can get a stage II right off the bat. If you're like me and have to do it all a couple hundred $$$ at a time, you might want to start with the chip and reap the big benefits of that upgrade along the way. But check with your tuner about their upgrade policy, because after you throw in an intake, exhaust, fmic, y-delete, and whatever else, you're going to want that chip tweaked a little extra.
