I found this pic on www.golfmkv.com , but they said this was post-body shop.. some say there are holes in the door under the trim, others say no holes.. can anyone confirm either

I like this car a lot. Very clean. Ride quality must be crap, though.

cause they suck. one was coming off so instead of me just fixing it they decided to take it off... what crappers

ok there is holes behind the door ding things i was going to take mine off nut lucky for me i stoped in time when i saw the holes so they went back on unnoticeable. so if you want to take them off you will have to get the holes covered and repaint that area.

That sucks. Why couldn't the germans just glue them on. Why did they have to go and make their vehicles last so damn long. ;D

they make the nicest damn GTi body kits. blows all others away by far. Reiger is nice as well but oettinger is just perfect.

Holy crap, if you go to that site, then to the Golf 5 GTI page, you will bust a nut. That's the finest looking GTI I have ever seen...
