I got a pk2, 18" wheels, and monster mats for $25k. Not too shabby.
Hard to believe that any dealer out there still has '06 MkV. I know that on the West coast, there aren't too many (none). And if you wanted an '07 4-dr (I did and got one), it's even harder to get.rflexMKV said:i'm picking up my new 2006 relfex silver mk5 saturday morning. it is a package 1 (roof/sat) with DSG and has a sticker price of $25,250 (destination included) --i'll be paying $23,150 (which includes destination), plus tax n' tags.
You really need to learn how to articulate yourself.GTiJorgeGTi said:paid i belive 27,000 ish , got the rims DSG , thats after Financing and im 18 think i got a good ass deal it being my first car ,3rd but first legal car. i F'ed the rim on it already think im anoing it black to get rid of teh scuff
For a car with 250 miles? You got ripped off.rflexMKV said:hi all, this is my first post. i'm picking up my new 2006 relfex silver mk5 saturday morning. it is a package 1 (roof/sat) with DSG and has a sticker price of $25,250 (destination included) --i'll be paying $23,150 (which includes destination), plus tax n' tags. i'll also be getting the 0% percent financing (36 months) announced for remaining 2006's. edmunds shows the vehicle invoice is $23,195 but i'm not really sure "invoice" means anything. i'm hoping to learn from other owners if this is a good deal for a car with only 250 miles.
now, i'm deciding if i should buy the new/pull-off 17 V Vision wheels/tires from another local dealer for get this... $650. i wish the car had the ground effects kit cos' i think it makes the car look complete (less gray plastic). where can i sell my original 17 inch wheels/tires if i decide to get the V Visons?
thanks --rflexMKV
strange. there are about ten bonafide (2006.5) 2.0 MkVs within 100 miles of my location back east --one dealer somehow has five 06.5s and seven 07 MkVs! i figure the zero percent interest and 2100 off msrp equates to 4k off when compared to alternative financing over 5 years. i'll take all the monthly pain I can get for zero percent over 36mo. this scenario was enough to make me buy over the rabbit (2dr auto 17 inch alloys) i was considering at 16,800 without good financing. hmm, that 4 door MkV is also very nice!!!niko597 said:Hard to believe that any dealer out there still has '06 MkV. Are you sure it is a MkV 'coz a local dealer tried to pawn an '06 MkIV on me. Keep in mind that the MkV is 2006.5 and later. 2006 GTIs are MkIV (I guess) because it has different body style and 1.8 liter Turbo.
But if it is a bonafide MkV, the price quoted above is very good (06 or 07).
