Hi, I have a 2007 Gti . Check engine say is the crankshaft position sensor . I got one that will not fit to my vehicle even everyone suggested that is the part to be right for my vehicle .. I'm attaching a pic with the one in my car ..
Can anyone instruct what part is replacing the curent sensor I have for my car ..

What you have pictured there is the air temp sensor.

If you replace the crank position sensor, the code is cleared, but returns...then this may be damaged (Impulse Rotor).....
