OK, have an 09 GTI MKV w/TSI 2.0...CEL came on & idling really rough. Went & had them throw the tool on to see what codes I was throwing & came up w/12 of them!

Just changed the plugs about 10k ago & the guy suggested replacing the Crankshaft Position Sensor. I'm pretty mechanically inclined & don't anticipate having a problem replacing this if I just knew where it was...

I searched already & couldn't find any pics or How-To write-ups.

Can somebody please help?

I don't know about the TSI, but on the FSI its on the front left up by the camshaft. See if your TSI looks the same as this picture.


Edit: Just realized you said crankshaft and not camshaft.. Opps
