I think ive read somewhere that some chips may void the warranty or does that depend just on like the dealer or something? and ive heard of like the revo chips or the apr chips but i dont know to much about them at all except they add like 50 horses and put out more torque

im new to cars (my GTI is my first) and i really dont know to much about the performance area, any comments would be appreciated
