Ok so im curious about a few lighting issues.

1) I want to change the turn signal lights on the mirrors so that it is a white light that blinks instead of an orange one. Anyone have a link to the removal of the turn signal cover also does anyone know the code for the replacement bulb?

2) I just bought clear side markers for my GTI and same above does anyone know or have a link to a removal tutorial as well as the code for the light?

3) I want to change the turn signal that is on the headlight bezel so that it is white like the rest and not orange but the orange part is inside the head light and is not the light itself. Any thoughts if this can be removed?

If I got the jist of it, you want all the turn signals to be white. I'd also like to know.

If I read the above correctly, you want to change all of the amber lights (turn signals) to white lights? Isn't that illegal?

To remove the ones in the front bumper just push in with your thumb and they will pop out.

Not sure but i believe it is by state and my 96 dodge stratus had all clear w/ white turn signals. Never got anything for it. and yes GranTurismo i want to change out all the amber lights for white lights.

literally takes 5 minutes to change them at most. changing the bulb i am not sure on though... shouldnt be too difficult though once its out...

the light on the mirrors can not be changed. it is a LED that is inside the light. BUT you can get clear or blacke out ones. but they will still be orange when they are lit. If there is a need i will do a step by step with pic's to put them in. Just let me know

I looked into the headlights, it is a biatch. The best thing to do is find an aftermarket headlight without yellows. As of writing this message I am coming up empty. Haven't looked into the tails yet. The headlights are easy take outs except for one lower screw that is hidden. In order to get it you need to take the bumper off or be extremely good with a ratchet screwdriver.

I too want the yellows gone. If you find any head/tail lights without, please pass along.

As for the side mirrors. Changing the clear lense is easy, the bulb you need to take the whole mirror apart to get. There is a how to on this site somewhere.
