I had an 04 SRT4 be4 i totaled it and purchased the 06 GTI. Right be4 I totaled the SRT4 tho, I purchased a Greddy Type S BOV and the pressure pipe that it fits onto for the SRT4. Does NE1 know if such a pressure pipe has been made yet for the GTI or if you need one to put a BOV onto the car? Thanks

Forget that post, It was just brought to my attention that porsche and VW generated new software where only there specially engineerd BOV's could be put on.

Hey I thought this link might be of use to you.. its a company called EIP , which im sure you have heard of before.. They have BOV's tailored for VW's.

Let me know what you think.. Or if anyone else has any comments/questions/suggestions ... I'd love to hear them

If you want a BOV on your MK5 GTI you have to go for a Forge BOV.

It doesn't seem that loud i rather have a ping noise than a swishhh. I think the diverter vavle makes the ding.

If i were to get a forge BOV how hard is it to get installed. Sorry if this is the wrong place for this question! Someone let me know. I also have an Nuespeed intake on as well. So do I even need a BOV on my car? Someone let me know.

I just bought the Forge bov and it was easy enough to install had to fight the bolts becuase it was so tight but for the most part it was easy and the sound is great!!!
