you reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery, thats your problem, you couldve reset the setting on the ECU upgrade.ammo420muns said:
also if he is boosting less then .5bar then theres probably a boost leak somewhere. also dont forget that after you add a mad the ECU has to relearn the adjustments of the new amount of air coming in through the MAF sensor. so there is an adjustment period.
if the car has no power at all and tends to stutter and turn off on you thats a definite boost leak. i had that happen a few weeks ago to my friends GLI. i was so lazy to take off the bumper i just cut my hands, im an idiot.
