I need to get a new clutch for my GTI 2002. The thing is that I need to figure out the clutch size. I need to know if I have a 225mm or a 220mm. Any idea how to do it ?.

Another thing I want to know what would be the best clutch and flywheel. I have a 450 budget for this. Any ideas. I have these options.

ECS VS SACHS ?. Sachs has a good reputation too.

Any idea how to deteminate the size of my current clutch ?.
the ECS kit uses a Sach clutch and is a conversion for a 225mm clutch to a 228mm clutch.

1.8T come with a 225mm clutch

VR6 come with a 228mm clutch

read the info on ECStuning they tell u all this

google vr6 clutch with g60 flywheel....you'll love it, trust me. And you can't really beat 350 for the clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, and bearing.
