PGR3 is badass online. I've heard Test Drive Unlimited is cool online as well. You just drive around Honolulu and if you pass someone you want to race, you just invite them to it. Kinda like a driving MMORPG
I was hooked on PGR2 for a while. I have a couple friends with xbox 360 and they both have said that PGR3 and Forza Motorsport is prettier, but no more fun than PGR2. The xbox live really makes PGR2 a lot more fun.
My other favorite is Rallisport Challenge 2. It's a ton of fun. Much more fun to play solo than PGR2. It's a lot more offroad than PGR2.
Comparing them as solo games, PGR2 is all about making each turn perfectly, which can get kindof frustrating if you can't find the right line. Rallisport Challenge is just about surviving the race and beating the time. It's not as precise and maybe a bit more forgiving. It's still challenging and gets progressively more difficult, but it's a bit less frustrating.
From the xbox live perspective, PGR2 is just about perfect. It's easy to find races, it's fun to race, and playing cat-and-mouse and last-man-standing are a lot of fun.

grand turismo and forza are the best
a lot of people hate it but i loved the tokyo extreme racer games... i just beat the latest (import tuner challenge) the week it was released... pretty fun game IMO
i bought Test Drive: Unlimited and that shit got boring after like 4 days..... thank god it was a budget game... hopefully after i fix my router and they release some updates it will be alittle funner.

Not super realistic but It is fun that there are other REAL PEOPLE rolling around in cars at the same time. Everyone who plays the game gets logged into a giant world or M.O.O.R as they call it (Massively Open Online Racing).

I still don't have an XBOX360. Last Christmas I gave my reservation to a friend so her son would have one for Christmas. Hopefully that good Karma will kick in one day soon. LOL
