Hello guys,
I am back in the VW family with my new 2007 GTI Magic Black, Package #1, Manual. First car and first VW was a 2000 VW New Beetle. It was awesome test driving the GTI and I negotiated over a week to get rid of my MX-5 Miata for it. >

The one thing that actually got to me over time was space. It drove nicely and cornered great. I wanted a dvd sound system and that would require an alarm, but if you think about it...a convertible top still. So I figured why waste a couple thousand when I can trade it in and get one with an alarm and cruise control and think about the nav and dvd later. I thought about it for about 2 weeks and decided to move towards the GTI. I nearly got the Mazda 3 Hatch. Soooooo glad I didn't!

Not to sound like a parrot, but why not the mazda 3? Same size and utility.
