Ah HA! I found my stash of VW ads... I have ads back to some of the original bug ads.

Most are oldies, but goodies.

The Right Stuff:

Corrado:

Citi Golf:

Passenger's Wanted (this is not a real VW ad, but made by a local CO enthusiast):

Seat ad (not VW, but great ad, one of my favorites):

My favorite VW ad (that i have seen so far):

Bird (Another non VW ad, but great):

Supposedly this ad was banned (that is the rumor I heard):

Bomber (UK ad, supposedly banned as well):

That Landspeed one was nice ;D It's a very strange ad for a car that has, what, 100 hp? But it's a great commercial anyhow! And how did you find that Corrado commercial?

Oh, by the way - a lot of the ads that people thought were "banned" like the Bomber ad were never really on TV. It's called Viral marketing where they post up the ad on someplace like VWVortex and make up a story for it, then let it filter through people's emails until everybody who'd like it sees it. The people who would get offended usually don't see the ads, so we get to see outrageous stuff and nobody gets "hurt". There's a Fred Astaire remix that I wish I could find again that was released the same way.

If I find it I'll post it up
