Interesting read. Did VW used to own Porsche (or do they still? I thought they just collaborated on the Cayenne/Tuareg??)?

If you didn't know, Dr. Ferdinand Porsche was the man who desiged the Volkswagen Bug way back when in Germany, I don't know the rest of the history, but they may have still been collaborating in '83. If anybody does know the history, I'd like to know it.
