Hey, first post. I am not a GTI owner YET. I am thinking about getting one for my first car. I have a few questions...I know they've been answered but not all of them. Lights, I like to have control on my lights. If I get a GTI, I will get euro tailights and a new headlamp switch. 1st question: What do I have to do and how do I get the rear fogs to work? Second: If I get a euro headlamp switch with coming home feature can I intend to use the coming home switch as a DRL switch and position 0 be everything off? Also on the switch, if I do not have the DRL's off, can I still run the parking lamps without the DRL's? Third: if I do get vag, can I change the configuration of the brake lights...e.g have the full circle to half? Fourth: Where is the rear fog in the light housing? Fith: The ground effects, does that paint the rear bumper from black to body color? If not do I have to do that custom or can the dealer do it?

In answer to the last question, yes the ground effects kit replaces all that rubbery crap and is all body color painted.

Does the dealer sell the ground effects kit (if so, how much?)? Or is there only aftermarket ones.

they have a factory one. i believe it goes for 1,650 extra.
