Ok so I am wanting to install a set of H&R Sport Springs 1.5"F 1.4"R and it appears a new sway bar may need to be installed.

Question 1: Has anyone done a drop similar to this?? If so did you need to install a sway bar??

Question 2: If I do need a sway bar is there a cheater way to get around this sway bar issue without actually needing to get a new sway bar??

Thanks in advance to whoever answers this :D

From what i heard no... because i just got the aftermarket coils on my Veeee-dubb and i dont have anything else like that the brand that my springs are Eibach... I am not an expert with this stuff(noob status) but my dad knows a lot... and my uncle owns a shop and from what they told me there should be nothing wrong with the way you have it or WILL get it.

I'm debating on wether to put on lowering springs for my car, i'm thinking about tein lowering springs wich will give me 1.5" front and 1.6" rear. Now should i have a camber kit put on or no? And is there anything else i should thing of before i actually purchase and install. Also, will 2" be too low for daily driving? I have a VR6 if it makes any diff.

Measure the wheel gap.. If its a good amount of gap I dont think 2 inches would be a problem in my opinion.. and I dont think you would need a camber kit unless you were getting sh**y springs or if you were lowering it to where you were tucking tires.. But im not a spring specialist kind of guy..

I measured the gap and i don't think i'd want to go any lower than 1.5" on the front. It puts the front at a nice height and the rear could use like 1.6-1.8 but i don't want it too low b/c i want it to look balanced

I haven't done the suspension on my gti yet, but from past expierence 2" was too low for a daily driver, I didn't hit the front to much but I did bottom alot going down the road. Speed bumps sux too. If/ When, I do suspension again I am going to do it slight and with all the accessories. My opinion, suspension is not a place to go cheap.

Going too low is pretty bad... My brother has his srt-4 lowered.. He has bent rims over city titties.. bottomed out numerous times.. and his front always gets scraped up when its like a slope going to an even part... if you see what im saying.. anyways.. Going too low can get on your nerves and might not be worth the money..
