So I've had my 2002 1.8T GTI for a little over a year now and I've had to replace the axles 4 times. My car is lowered with 17 pounds of boost. The last time I replaced them was about 4 months ago and, supposedly, this last set of axles were more durable. Now they're starting to shudder again...
